Zoe Saldana Decries The Inequality Meted Out To Celebrities By Directors At Hollywood
Zoe Saldana is doing all she possibly can to get her employers pay for the losses borne by her and her family while she is at work. It is time studio executives began paying 'perks' to female artists for the upbringing of their children. She criticised studio administration for doling out 'perks' to the male artists working for them.
Saldana was critical of the perks available to the male counterparts in the industry like private jets and penthouses. The realization of the bias on the part of employers in the industry was highlighted as she stressed that women required more money because they needed to pay for nannies to take their place at home while they are away at work shooting for movies.
Saldana began a new chapter in her life when she gave birth to a set of twin boys, Cy and Brownie, in December. Her pregnancy created a stir in the tinsel world where directors are said to be in favor of putting her off some projects because she was pregnant.
She was quite surprised when she came to know of her being off the project simply because she was expecting a baby. The news of her pregnancy seemed to be something inconvenient for her bosses. There was a rumor of her being put off the project because her pregnancy was something received by dissonance by her bosses in the media. There doesn't seem to be a right time for pregnancy, she says. But she is elated with her baby twins.
The celebrity decried the unequal treatment meted out by the movie-bosses towards male and female artists.
